With its newly announced stab at reinventing the tremendous CRX, Honda has demonstrated that it does indeed have a sense of its past, even it it’s sometimes blurred. Here’s our take, from the Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car show at Saratoga Springs last year. We had a class for bikes, and this row is a pretty neat microscope view of Honda cycling through the 1960s and 1970s, running through the first-gen 750 Four. Our show winner was this utterly, completely perfect 1977 Gold Wing GL 1000, shown here as publisher Jim Menneto hands over the hardware.
