Hemmings Find of the Day – 1978 Chevrolet LUV

Here I thought every LUV truck had disappeared into a million rust flakes decades ago, even those residing outside the Rust Belt, but this 1978 Chevrolet LUV for sale on Hemmings.com proves me wrong. Not only does it appear to be rust-free, it also appears to be in roadworthy condition, with a swapped-in small-block Chevrolet V-8 and a few other upgrades, which should make it easier to find parts for it than if it had been left stock. From the seller’s description:

Has a small block Chevy V8 305 with a turbo 350 automatic transmission, a/c. Has a fiberglass stepside bed. AM/FM stereo cd/player. Truck has been frame on restored. All new rubbers, seals, gaskets. All chrome and trim in excellent condition. Custom interior with original dash. Very nice looking hot rod. Fun to drive.
