Ladies and germs, a Pacer with a complete, unfaded, only slightly worn interior. This 1977 AMC Pacer station wagon for sale on Hemmings.com has to be one of the few remaining Pacers with an interior that hasn’t cracked and crumbled to pieces, thanks in part to spending the last 38 years parked in a carport and out of the sun, and in part to what appears to be a careful and doting first owner who kept the miles – and the wear and tear – low. From the seller’s description:

The Good: One owner, 43,000 original mile complete car. No-rust Southern car, always in covered carport. Very nice interior. 258ci inline 6-cylinder automatic transmission

The Not So Good: Dented rocker panel and tail pipe (see photos). Typical door panel crack. Trim slightly delaminating

This beautiful example is a one-owner, rust-free Southern car. As indicated by the red interior, in great condition. This car has been carefully stored in a covered carport environment since day one. With 43,000 original miles on the 258ci inline 6-cylinder engine and automatic transmission, this rust-free example will make its new owner proud. With a little TLC, this would make a nice driver or addition to your collection.
