Hemmings Find of the Day – 1976 Jeep Wagoneer
West Coast-sourced 1976 Jeep Wagoneer for sale on Hemmings.com. From the seller’s description:
Here is a very nice example of a 1976 Jeep Wagoneer that spent most of its life in the dry climate of eastern Oregon. It’s a Quadratrac 4WD “Base Model” with the bullet proof AMC 360 V8 & 3-Speed Automatic combo. I bought this Jeep with the intent of making it into a cool daily driver, but I have too many projects right now. Virtually rust free and original (which is why I bought it from the west coast). Runs and drives great, I would not hesitate to drive it home after purchasing, no matter where you live. The previous owner purchased it from the second owner and was told that it only had 80,000 miles. Right now, the odometer reads 86,000 miles. The speedometer/gas gauge did quit working this past summer. I haven’t looked into it but’s probably related to the cluster (I’ll probably fix it when I have the opportunity). Other than the speedo, the rear window regulator isn’t getting the rear window all the way up. It’s a common problem that again I’ll likely address when I have the opportunity. Otherwise everything works as it should.
