Hemmings Find of the Day – 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda AAR
It’s easy enough to look at a car like this restored 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda AAR for sale on Hemmings.com and snarkily ask whether the owner even drives it, but to do so overlooks the dedication that went into its restoration and documentation. And besides, as any of us who’ve slogged through a grungy, rusty project car can attest, it sure would be a relief to work on something this spic-n-span. From the seller’s description:

An assembly line worker at Hamtramck Plant would occasionally sign his nickname “Rock,” on the high performance cars. His signature is on this car. The original white lettering is still on the wheel well.
This is a concours restored car. This car has the correct inspection marks & paint marks and decal tags. The paint is a solid 10 out of 10, and the alignment of doors, trunk and hood and body lines are perfect! This car has all the correct detail from the factory on a concours level. Lift the original hood to see the immaculately detailed engine compartment.
