Being able to trace the ownership and service history of a classic car makes justifying its purchase that much easier, which is why this 1967 Dodge Polara Convertible for sale on Hemmings.com caught our attention. The car has been in the same family since 1968, and was a daily driver until 1976. It retains its original 383-cu.in. V-8 and two-barrel carburetor, though the engine was rebuilt some five years back following damage from a stuck valve. The car comes with extensive owner records, including its fueling history. From the seller’s description:

1967 Dodge Polara Convertible, This car was purchased by my parents in 1968, it had one previous owner. I took my drivers test with the top down in 1971. My mother driove it until 1976 when she parked it in the garage and only drove it on special occasions after that (parades etc) There is a record for everytime they put gas in the car! It is all original, never restored with the original 383 2 barrel although I rebuilt it 5 years ago (1000 miles) because a valve stuck and damaged the engine. The electric top is original and the car has a glass back window. This was an everday driver until it was parked in the garage so it is not perfect. It hasn’t been restored, just very well cared for. It is a good car that drives nice and ready to go anywhere you live, I wouldn’t be afraid top take it across country.
