Hemmings Find of the Day – 1966 Buick Sport Wagon
We have little trouble believing the assertion that this 1966 Buick Sport Wagon for sale on Hemmings.com has spent much of its life in California and Nevada, what with its working air conditioning (with all those windows, A/C is just short of necessary for this car) and overall decent shape. Of course, it also appears to have never been restored, and more than that, used often over the decades, so it has its fair share of dings, dents, and other things to fix, which shouldn’t deter most longroof enthusiasts. From the seller’s description:
The Good: Cali/Nevada car – Very little rust. Very straight; A/C – working A/C (and heat, of course); Awesome roof glass (like the Olds Vista Cruiser); New windshield; Recent brake overhaul; Electric rear window
The Bad: Minor body imperfections; Driver side front quarter has a ding; Rear bumper needs straightening and re-chroming; Doors need new seals (have new seals); Electric rear window needs new guides; Gas tank is patched (have new tank)
The Ugly: Original interior is rough, but the roof liner is still intact; Carpets are worn; Missing spare tire cover
