In 1963, GM reintroduced the Buick Riviera as a stylish personal luxury coupe to combat Ford’s successful Thunderbird. While the 1963-1965 Buick Riviera models are favored by collectors for their bold lines, we still find the curves and angles of the redesigned 1966-1970 Rivieras appealing, and perhaps more timeless than later designs.
