Hemmings Find of the Day – 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa sport coupe
Vintage cars aren’t always optimal as daily drivers, but restomods may represent too much of a departure from baseline to satisfy purists. Finding the proper balance of authenticity and drivability can be a challenge, but this 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa, for sale on Hemmings.com, seems to hit the mark. It’s set up with a nod to performance, yet maintains a decidedly non-custom appearance, with the possible exception of its lowered ride height. No, it won’t win any concours events in its current altered-from-stock form, but we’d be hard pressed to think of anything we’d do differently on a weekend driver and occasional track toy.
