Hemmings Find of the Day – 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

In its day, this six-cylinder 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu four-door sedan for sale on Hemmings.com was the equivalent of a Toyota Camry: produced in huge quantities for mass consumption, generic and invisible and perfectly suited to blending in with traffic, and utterly incomprehensible in terms of ever becoming a collector car. These days, plain jane four-doors from the Sixties might not light the world on fire, but nobody’d advocate just dispensing with them either, and this one at least would make a far sight better daily driver than a Camry. From the seller’s description:

White with dark tan interior, 4 Door Sedan, 230 Cubic Inch 6 Cylinder motor, Aftermarket Air Conditioning, Radio works, All of the lights work, Good tires all around. Really neat old Chevy. Runs and drives very nicely, would be a great car for touring! Would also be a great car for someone wanting to get into the hobby.
