Hemmings Find of the Day – 1960 Pontiac Ventura

All too often, I point out that the old-car hobby is largely based on nostalgia – guys wanting to rekindle memories of the cars they drove (or desperately wanted to drive) when they were in high school. This 1960 Pontiac Ventura for sale on Hemmings.com is a prime example of that, what with its baby moons and fuzzy dice. And every high-school senior in 1960 certainly desired a Tri-Power setup on his Poncho. From the seller’s description:

Tri-Power 389 matching number engine. Automatic trans. Just recently recently (2009) restored, new paint, rechromed, tires, exhaust, trans rebuilt, engine compartment detailed. Has power steering and brakes. Very nice ride. Plenty of pictures during restoration.
