Who would have figured that the humble Microbus would have become such a hot commodity in the 21st century? Yet it’s not at all uncommon to see one like this 23-window 1959 Volkswagen Microbus for sale on Hemmings.com, fully restored and accessoried to the nines. This one sits a little lower than most, but the modifications aren’t that radical, so we don’t imagine it’ll perturb most Microbus fans. From the seller’s description:

A beautifully restored 1959 VW 23-window bus. Ceiling wax red and beige grey in color. Body is mint straight. interior is perfect and all stock. The bus has been lowered by using a bug transmission and bolt-in drop spindles, it can easily be returned to stock height. The bus is powered by a dual port 1600 motor that runs great. All glass is factory correct. The bus has the safari front windows. This bus gets compliments and looks every time it is driven.
