1957 Ford Ranchero

We found this 1957 Ford Ranchero in the auction listings for Mecum’s current Kissimmee sale:

Jerry Miller of Jerry’s Classic Cars and Parts in Springdale, Arkansas, has been helping 1957-’59 Ford station wagon, retractable, convertible and Ranchero owners with restorations and parts for decades. To fully appreciate the restoration shop’s craftsmanship, we alert you to this beautiful Flame Red and Doeskin Tan 1957 Ranchero, set to cross the block as lot S99 on Saturday, January 14. The ute has undergone a complete frame-off restoration in their shop and it carries many of the most desirable options available for the 1957 model year, including power steering and air conditioning. A Y-block 292 V-8 powers the classic Ranchero, and it is equipped with an automatic transmission. The exterior finish looks impressive, with every piece of chrome, aluminum, stainless and gold trim that was original to the model, including the chrome V-shaped bar and bed railings. Jerry’s restoration shop is well-known for their chrome trim refurbishing service and you can see some examples of that work on this car. The bold red interior has also been completely rehabilitated, as you can see from the photos. Pre-auction estimates on this 1957 gem range from $100,000 to $125,000.
