Even if this 1956 Kurtis-Kraft midget racer for sale on Hemmings.com – also known as the Le Claire Special – didn’t currently hold the record in M/MVOT, didn’t have any Bonneville race history, or weren’t in shape to return to Bonneville and do better, it’s still an authentic Kurtis-Kraft midget powered by an Offy four-cylinder, making for one awesome combination. 1956 Kurtis-Kraft Midget. 110 Offy – 97c.i. (best of everything): Carillo Rods, Moldex Crank, J&E Pistons, Dema Elgin Cams, New Springs. All Aluminum Body with full nose to tail belly pan. Custom Built Brass Radiator. Cage is 4130 and comes with an extra bolt on cage. Custom Paint and Graphics. On Board Fire Supression System. Streamlined for the salt where possible.
