Hemmings Find of the Day – 1956 Cadillac soda bar

As it sits now, this 1956 Cadillac soda bar for sale on Hemmings.com uses the Cadillac cowl forward as simple decor, but we could envision making it more functional, adding a grille under the hood and replacing the dash with the sink. Presuming, of course, you don’t have a 1956 Cadillac that needs new front sheetmetal. From the seller’s description:

Vintage-style soda bar with the front end of a 1956 Cadillac convertible as the center attraction. Great addition to your garage, man cave or large family room. Fully functioning back bar with sink and lighting, mirrored storage areas with glass shelves above, and cabinets and drawers below. Left and right side bars are covered in fifties-styled gray, aqua and pink formica with four, matching swivel stools. Includes car (not restored but presentable), two side bars, top and bottom back bar and four stools (other items shown in photos are not included). Complete set-up is 16’6″ wide and 11′ deep, allowing space between the car and the back bar. Back bar is 7’5″ wide by 7’5″ tall.
