Hemmings Find of the Day – 1956 Cadillac Eldorado Seville and Biarritz
What to do with this twofer 1956 Cadillac Eldorado Seville and Biarritz package for sale on Hemmings.com? Both need work, but that’s only because the seller appropriated parts from the Seville to use on the Biarritz. So the former would likely be easier to put back in running and driving shape, while the latter would probably be more valuable once finished. Complete one and sell the other? Complete both and have a matching set for shows? Or get them to the minimum threshold for street legality and drive them both until the wheels fall off? From the seller’s description:
So the convertible restoration was well under way when I purchased but was missing interior and much of the exterior chrome. After many years of searching, I found a perfect original Seville that was complete to use as parts-car to complete. The convertible runs great with entire drive train restored. Seville ran great until I started robbing parts, but both drivetrains are complete. I am moving for work and have decided to sell both and all parts as package. The convertible was purchased from original family owners, LA car with absolutely no damage or corrosion.
