Hemmings Find of the Day – 1952 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe Convertible
This 1952 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe Convertible for sale on Hemmings.com may not have the appeal of celebrity ownership, as the McQueen-owned 1951 Styleline that sold earlier this year did, but it has had the same owner for the last 48 years, was fully restored in 2004 and doesn’t appear to need any significant work. Best of all is that it’s offered at tens of thousands of dollars less than McQueen’s old Styleline Deluxe, which likely saw more (non-celebrity) owners over its lifespan. From the seller’s description:
This Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe convertible has all the bells and whistles available that year, turn indicators, back up lights, power top, all the bumper dressings, fender skirts, a clock, a raido, and heater /defroster. Standard equipment straight 6 cylinder, 6 volt electric system, 3 on the tree trans. This ready to drive 61 year old beauty, has had 1 owner since 1965, restored the first time in the mid 70′s and garaged since that time, a second and complete restoration 2000-2004, included paint, top, interior, engine and re-chroming.
