1940 Ford DeLuxe convertible for sale. From the seller’s description:

Solid driver all-steel original car. Owned this car for 25 years and have been continually restoring it since purchasing it. Removed all wiring and replaced with new factory-coded wiring harnesses. Removed fenders for full car repaint in 2005. Reinstalled with all-new fender welting. Old floor pans removed and installed new ones. Original drivetrain with less than 100 miles on professional rebuild of original engine. Professional replacement of original top, interior, and boot with Lebaron/Bonney products. Teardrop skirts and mellow-sounding dual “Smithy” muffler exhaust system w/50’s echo cans. Blue Dots. Ford script whitewalls very little wear. Original reconditioned hot water heater/defroster. Works great! Original radio with FM internally added. All instruments working and accurate. Original clock, but not running. Have original pneumatic top cylinders in good condition and original top control switch in dash. Removed cylinders to install rear floor pans but not re-installed. Professionally refurbished fuel tank inside and out. Auxiliary electric stand-by fuel pump (not needed but added it anyway). Original distributor converted internally with electronic module for instant and extremely reliable starts. Distributor looks original and utilizes correct coil. Rebuilt Ford/ Stromberg correct carb. Fuel pump replaced. Original generator (6V) rebuilt w/new regulator. Replaced master cylinder. Recent brake lining and cylinders. Rear end lowered with new adjustable single-leaf rear spring. Secondary rear telescoping shock kit installed for smoother ride. Optimus 6-volt battery. Custom car cover and 6-volt Battery Tender. Love the car, but have others and need to downsize
