Most Cords you see nowadays have been impeccably restored over the last few decades, so it’s interesting to see one, such as this 1936 Cord 810 for sale on Hemmings.com, that has a few battle scars and weak spots. What say you – would you restore it or drive it as is? From the seller’s description:
Stored 35 years. In museum last 6 years. Runs, won’t shift electrically, but have the part. Interior black cloth very good. All guages, clock radio working. Probably 114K miles. Doors fit excellent. All glass perfect. 1 repaint. Very very minor rust underbody. 99% complete.
