Hemmings Find of the Day – 1928 Austin Seven
You need a vacation. A Hawaiian vacation. Dr. Dan’s orders. It just so happens that this 1928 Austin Seven for sale on Hemmings.com is located in Hawaii, and we’ll bet that if you bring along an extra suitcase and fold the Seven just right, you can take it home in your luggage. From the seller’s description:
This 1928 Austin Seven was first sold in Australia. It appears to have a Holden-built body and several interesting differences from the English built cars. (Australia had high import taxes so many imported cars were brought in without bodies, and bodied locally, to avoid the taxes.) This car has an older restoration and runs/drives well. The car was brought to Hawaii from Australia about five years ago and it is currented titled and licensed in Hawaii. This is a super-cute little car with an interesting history. It comes with boxes of extra parts and a custom mini trailer. I just lost my storage space for it, and I have too many cars, so it needs to be sold. I can help with delivery to the shipper.
