Galveston, Texas, 1950s

Hey, look, whitewalls all over the place in this late 1950s photo of Galveston, Texas’s Gaido’s Restaurant that we came across on Baylor University’s Flickr page. Granted, it looks like many of the cars in the Gaido’s parking lot just off Seawall Boulevard were higher-end models (and we can only see a handful of them at the right angle to make out the whitewalls), so this may not be a representational slice of automobilia here. Regardless, what else do you see here?
