From the Hemmings Nation Flickr pool – Goliath, Toronado limo, Evel Knievel’s semi
It’s been a while since we highlighted the ever expanding Hemmings Nation Flickr pool, in which we can reliably find some cool odd stuff, such as the 1934 Goliath Atlas that dave_7 discovered in the Lane Motor Museum. Thought the Isetta was the only front-doored vehicle, didja?
I gave up a long time ago trying to find a common thread among the photos that Hugo90 posts. The only common vector is their awesomeness, and if I’ve ever previously come across something he posts, it’s a miracle. This limousine version of the Oldsmobile Toronado showed up at the Olds 75th anniversary celebration in Lansing back in 1972.
And finally, Troy Paiva continues to dazzle us with his nighttime junkyard photography, so it was hard to narrow down just one shot to share here, but in the end, I couldn’t pass up this photo of a crackerbox cabover, which we believe to be a Kenworth.
So if you’re on Flickr and have some cool old car photos you’d like to share, join the Hemmings Nation Flickr pool. If you’re not on Flickr and still would like to share some old car photos, you can always do so through the My Hemmings pages.
