Whether by design or chance, freaky cars are part of the hot rod community. They compel viewers to respond in different ways, and in many cases leave you asking more questions than satisfying any desire you may have had to see a car assembled in that particular way. But however you react, you’ve got to admit they leave you with a certain smile. Whether in a perverse, naïve, or defiant way, the message is clear: this is my unique statement—I made it with my own hands—take it or leave it.
