Four-Links – Old Car City, correction ahead?, big GM engines, Toyota History Garage
* Earlier this year, the Sometimes Interesting blog talked with Dean Lewis, proprietor of Old Car City in Georgia, which he claims to be the world’s largest (4,000-plus cars) and oldest (late 1940s) junkyard, and illustrated the story with plenty of Galen Dalrymple photos. (thanks to Dan Roth for the tip.)
* Rick Carey, auction editor over at Sports Car Digest, wondered aloud this week whether the collector car market was due for a severe correction that could take place as soon as this coming week, when all eyes turn to Monterey.
* GM’s FastLane blog this week took a look at some of the corporation’s largest engines. That 702 GMC Twin Six up there? Puny compared to some other engines mentioned in the article.
* Ronan Glon of RanWhenParked recently took in the Toyota History Garage in Tokyo, an interesting display of all sorts of cars in a less-than-expected (for Toyota, at least) setting.
* Finally, Stance Is Everything last week introduced us to the Tachyon Mini, a tube-frame, Mini-bodied, Porsche-powered hot rod.
