Fair Haven, Vermont, 1969

Perhaps, much like the photos of the junkyard in Newport, Vermont, that we examined a few years back, the photos of this dealership-slash-garage-slash-gas station-slash-junkyard along Route 22A in Fair Haven, Vermont, which we came across on the Vermont Landscape Change program, were taken from a study on roadside eyesores and right-of-way violations. Then again, a decade separates the two sets of photos, and we can only guess at the reason for the photos given the lack of context to go along with them. We’re not even sure exactly where along Route 22A the photos were taken. What do you see here?
