Eugene, Oregon, 1979

What drew the attention of the photographer from high up in the University of Oregon’s Prince Lucien Campbell Hall along Eugene’s Kincaid Street that day in 1979, we don’t know. Perhaps to illustrate the parking conditions on a college campus, always a bone of contention. Perhaps it was undergraduate’s idea of art, given the severe angle. Or perhaps it was just to use up a roll of film. Whatever the case, the resulting photographs, which we came across on the UO Libraries Digital Collections captures a fine slice of college rides.
