Eufaula, Oklahoma, 1940
Shorpy pointed out the above photo from February 1940 on Main Street in Eufaula, Oklahoma, the other day, and while searching for the original, we came across the below shot of another car transporter – this one a COE rather than a conventional cab – also passing through Eufaula that month. What do you see here? And what about these two transporters do you suppose warranted photographer Russell Lee’s attention?
