With permission from the Nick DeWolf photo archive, today we’re running several of his photos, all taken in an unidentified junkyard in Emeryville, California, in 1971. What led DeWolf to the junkyard, we don’t know, but there’s carspotting aplenty here, with ‘em stacked seven or eight tall. What do you see here, and what do you suppose caused the cars you see here to end up in the junkyard?
