As long as we’re focusing on wintertime carspotting scenes, we can’t forget the Chicagoland area and one of our favorite chroniclers of the area, C. William Brubaker, who took these three photos of East Chicago sometime in 1972. Above, Main Street looking north from between 138th and Broadway, below, two photos of Indianapolis Boulevard, one just south of the Indiana Toll Road, the other a little bit north, at the intersection with 150th.
