Douglas, Wyoming, 1950s
Gotta love the wide streets with no center dividers or markings or, apparently, any traffic controls in this postcard image taken not in some underdeveloped country, but in Douglas, Wyoming (specifically on Yellowstone Highway/West Center Street, looking east from the Second Street intersection), sometime in the late 1950s or possibly early 1960s, uploaded to Flickr by it’s better than bad. And somehow, with such anarchy on the streets, we don’t see any dented or bashed sheetmetal. What do you see here?
