Denton, Texas, 1977

Cruising through the University of North Texas’s Portal to Texas History netted us not only the picture of Scrappy in a Rupp, but also this Seventies street scene in Denton, Texas – specifically at University Drive and Carroll Boulevard. As we found the photo, it was undated, and at first glance we were ready to assign it a date of 1974, but looking deeper made us reconsider. Carspotters, let us know whether we were correct to reassess that date.
