Cruising With A Different Crowd – Hot Rod Power Tour Day 3
Day 3. Our final day while the Hot Rod Power Tour still has four more days to go before they reach the Wisconsin Dells. Here you can find my notes from day 1 and day 2 . The day centered around a voyage from Knoxville, TN to Charleston, WV. This was a part of the country that I have never been to and I was excited to see it. It didn’t disappoint with lush green hills, deep valleys and the roads that go with that kind of terrain. The roads were really good fun. There were plenty of folks lining the roads looking for the tour to pass as well. Mostly older gents and kids and that is ok. My kids were fascinated to see the coal mines and trains, but they really enjoyed the hard fought game of war in the back seat. For us, the drive was the best part of the day, even the pause at Dairy Cheer for a lunch time Smashburger was a great throwback.
