Corvallis, Oregon, 1960s
Did any of the drivers in this photo of Corvallis’s NW Fourth Street looking north from SW Monroe Avenue, which we came across on the University of Oregon’s Flickrstream, think they were up to anything particularly special that day in the Sixties when an unknown photographer hung out a seventh story window to grab their picture? Or were they just going about their normal business? Where were they all headed, and where were they all coming from? And while we’re pondering those questions, what do you see here?
