Cobras, Cobras, And Cool Kit Cars, Factory Five’s Surfside Car Show

Factory Five’s 10^th annual cruise-in brought out a generous mix of performance kit cars a mere block from the sand in Huntington Beach, California. Over 100 hand-built cars were in attendance, including a huge quantity of 818s (Subaru-based kit roadsters), and Factory Five’s Snap-On Tools Type 65 Coupe-R build. The R chassis version of Factory Five’s third generation Type 65 Coupe features additional bracing specifically for road racing and a white powder coated frame. Also unveiled at the show was Edelbrock’s MK4 Roadster, with an Edelbrock-supplied 785 horsepower, E-force-supercharged crate engine Under the hood ––making it, quite possibly, the highest horsepower roadster on the property.
