We always seem to praise the 1950s as a simpler, more laid back time, but this 1951 shot of downtown Chillicothe, Ohio, found over on PhotOhio.org, looks fairly busy, with plenty of foot and wheeled traffic, shops all up and down Paint Street, and a general sense of hustle and bustle.
