Chicago, 1969, part 2
Still going through C. William Brubaker’s photos of Chicago and found this pair dated 1969 with a couple of radically different automotive populations. Above, a scene he took at Adams and Des Plaines streets, featuring about what one would expect for that time period; below, however, his photo of the Monadnock Building and former federal courthouse building, as seen from South Dearborn, includes cars one would expect to see a decade or so prior. What do you see here?
