Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 1956

Reader Patrick Nosek shared the below carspotting image with us on our Facebook page and we were able to trace its source back to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, which also had the above archive image taken at the same time. Both photos depict the Town and Country shopping center on First Avenue in Cedar Rapids on the day it opened in May 1956, and other than the shop names, the strip mall appears pretty much the same nowadays. What do you see here?
