This Day in History: January 31, Part 2

On January 31, 1905, a car officially exceeded 100mph for the first time. Arthur MacDonald, a Brit driving a 90hp Napier, was the first to top 100 in the flying mile, reaching a top recorded speed of 104.65. Remarkably, there’s vintage video footage of the event at Ormond Beach, Florida.
