Reader and frequent commenter Stéphane Dumas spotted this circa 1960s photo of Cape Town, South Africa’s Adderley Street where it intersects with Strand Street on the blog of a Cape Town resident who noted that the Cape Town Heritage Council is to thank for keeping most of the buildings along this stretch intact. Indeed, a look at the current-day Street View shows that not much has changed in the last four or five decades, other than the cars, of course. What do you see here?
