Interesting series of images we came across over on the MIT Libraries Flickr page, all taken by one Nishan Bichajian and showing an unnamed intersection from above, with a steady stream of cars and trucks barreling through without any sort of traffic control device apparent in the photos. We picked out the two photos from the series best for carspotting, but we’re genuinely curious what was going on here? An experiment in how well motorists navigate intersections without direction? Or merely a case study on the intersection outside a couple of grad students’ dorm room? Maybe the credit to György Kepes as a researcher can answer some of our questions. What do you see here?
