Cambridge, Massachusetts, 1950s, part 2
We scanned Google Maps for the six-way intersection that György Kepes et al studied in this series of overhead photos for MIT – similar to the last batch of carspotting photos from the MIT Libraries Flickr page – but didn’t find anything in the Cambridge area. Wherever they set up, they managed to get a broad cross-section of cars, trucks and commercial vehicles passing through the intersection. What do you see here?
