Bonus Hemmings Find of the Day – half a Fury
The only thing I’magonna say about this 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury currently for sale on Hemmings.com is that, traditionally, Six Pack refers to Dodge’s triple-carb setup, while Six Barrel refers to Plymouth’s version. Offered for $45,000 out of Renton, Washington. From the seller’s description:
1970 Plymouth Sport Fury GT, super rare V code 440+6 car, PH23VOF143370, has original fender tag, door sticker and broadcast sheet, car is black with black int and white strobe stripes, column shift bench seat car, still wearing whats left of its original paint and is 1 of 11 known real V codes, now the bad, car needs total restoration! car is rusty and was wrecked in RF early in life, non original but correct F 440 HP block and 3410672 6 pack trans, have complete 6 pack set up, have lots of NOS for the car, including some sheet metal, H 70-15 polyglas tires, trim lenses etc, probably the only V code fury GT in this color combo.. this is a big project but once restored will be the only one on the planet like it..so if you are seeking that car that is so elusive most dont even know of their existance this may be for you.
