Continuing with the theme of highway openings in the Seventies for our street scenes from Vermont, this time we’re bringing it home for the opening of the Route 7 interchange just north of town with photos we found on the Vermont Landscape Change Program. Above, a photo looking south toward the intersection of Route 7 with Kocher Drive, and below, looking north from about the same location toward Route 7′s interchange with what is now the Bennington Bypass.
