Beirut, Lebanon, 1965, part 2

Encouraged by the recent Charles Cushman shot of Beirut, Lebanon, we went through the rest of Cushman’s photographs from that trip and came across the above photograph, taken somewhere in Beirut’s city center – as with the seaside shot, Cushman wasn’t too specific about the location. Also as with the seaside shot, we see a number of American vehicles dwarfing everything else on the street. What do you see here?
