Banff, Alberta, 1964

The light must be great for photographers traveling through Banff because every Sixties vacation photo from the town that we’ve seen – including this found photo that was recently posted to Shorpy – shows vivid and sharp colors. Of course, that majestic craggy mountain in the background of almost all those photos doesn’t hurt the shot. But we’re primarily focused on the cars lining Banff Avenue. What do you see here?
