Baltimore, 1950s

While these two photos from the Duke University Libraries Digital Collections weren’t tagged with any identifying information, we were able to sleuth out a city and state – Baltimore, Maryland – based on the Belmont 5 telephone exchange and confirmed by the now-demolished Maryland Casualty clock tower in the background. We’re also rather confident that the photos were taken on Light Street as it rounds the inner harbor. Based on what you see here, can you give the photos an approximate date?
