Returning to the Western North Carolina Heritage online photo archive for today’s street scene, we see traffic backed up on I-240 in Asheville, North Carolina, waiting to enter the Beaucatcher Tunnel. The information attached to the photo claims that it was taken in the 1960s, and if so, it would have to be late in the 1960s, given the 1968 Buick we see. What else do you see here?
