Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance officials have moved the concours itself up to this Saturday due to rain in the forecast. From a press release announcing the move:

Even in the best case scenario, the forecast for Sunday’s scheduled Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance includes rain and lots of it. With a 100% chance of heavy precipitation forecast for Sunday and a sunshine-filled Saturday in the mix, Bill Warner and his team have chosen to move Sunday’s award-winning Concours to Saturday.

The Saturday Cars and Coffee event will continue as scheduled, though any cars meant to be on the main showfield for that event will be relocated to the golf course’s fairway No. 2. The Legends of the Leaping Car – Jaguar Racing Drivers seminar, originally scheduled for Saturday, will instead take place Sunday morning in the Talbot Ballroom at the Ritz-Carlton.
