2009 Japanese Classic Car Show

Back in early October, the annual Japanese Classic Car Show ran their annual event in Irvine, California. I’m told that it was a fabulous event, and these pics would seem to back this up. This year, I went on my own time … as a vendor, selling toy cars. I was so busy all morning I couldn’t escape, and never did actually get out to see the show. It’s always been a favorite event, and the wad of cash in my pocket after the fact has only cemented its reputation in my mind.

The photos seen here were taken by a friend, shot with a point-and-shoot and taken during the award ceremony, when the cars were all in place but the crowds were elsewhere. And thanks to my inability to work my new computer, they’re not even named or captioned properly. Yay technology.
