1970 Chevrolet Chevelle – Barn-Find Expeditions
The owner said the SS 396 was his family’s car for the longest time, and they had taken it everywhere.
On a recent barn-find expedition in Indiana, my friends and I came across an original ’70 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396. The owner welcomed us into his garage and showed us around, but we didn’t see the Chevelle anywhere. As the layers in his garage peeled away, it appeared, covered in rust. The car hadn’t always been locked away in this cocoon. The owner said the SS was his family’s car for the longest time, and they had taken it everywhere.
